Accessibility statement for AegisRX
Last updated: March 2026
Our commitment
AegisRX is committed to making its clinical review platform accessible to as wide an audience as possible. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Compliance status
This application is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working to identify and resolve accessibility barriers.
Measures taken
- Skip-to-content link for keyboard navigation
- Screen-reader-only text for icon-only controls
- ARIA roles and live regions for dynamic content such as alerts, decision statuses, and escalation banners
- Focus management when expanding, collapsing, and saving decisions
- Colour contrast ratios reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Semantic HTML landmarks and heading hierarchy
Known limitations
- Some third-party components (date pickers, rich text editors) may not be fully keyboard-accessible.
- PDF and document exports may not meet full PDF/UA accessibility standards.
- Drag-and-drop interactions in the consultation workflow do not yet have keyboard alternatives.
- Some dynamically generated AI content may not have optimal heading structure.
